Barbara Prestano, Au.D., CCC/A, C/ABA, F/AAADirector of Audiology

Dr. Prestano is a Delaware licensed Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist, certified by the American Board of Audiology (ABA) and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is originally from New York, where she was a college professor, as well as Director of Audiology for a large ENT Practice for many years.
Barbara has been helping the hearing impaired for more than 25 years. She received her B.S. degree in Speech Pathology from Hofstra University, NY in 1986, her M.S. degree in Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 1991, and her clinical doctorate in Audiology, the Au.D. from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2003.
She has been an educator and public speaker for many years, providing training and seminars in hearing and hearing loss. She is an advocate for the hearing impaired, focusing on educating people about hearing loss and the impact that is has on quality of life.
Amanda Ayars, Au.D., CCC/AClinical Audiologist
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, 2012
Dr. Ayars joined the ENT & Allergy of Delaware family in June 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University, both in 2008. She then received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from TTUHSC in 2012. She is currently a licensed Audiologist in the state of Delaware and certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Amanda did her 4th year internship at a neuro-otology clinic in Dallas Texas. While working there, she performed diagnostic audiological testing as well as aural rehabilitation and balance testing. Amanda dispensed hearing aids, BAHAs, and cochlear implants. In addition, she worked several years in a hospital setting as a newborn infant screener.
Travis Deputy, Au.D., C/ABAClinical Audiologist
Dr. Deputy joined ENT & Allergy of DE in June, 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology from Bloomsburg University, PA in 2011, and his Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University, PA in 2015. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology.
Travis completed a one year rotation at Clarke School for Hearing and Speech’s main campus in Northampton, Massachusetts, where he worked with many children and adults with severe to profound hearing loss. Travis has seen the effects communication difficulties can have and strives to provide the means to foster and facilitate communication between individuals and their loved ones.
Lauren J. Doolittle, Au.D., CCC/AClinical Audiologist
Dr. Lauren Doolittle joined the ENT and Allergy of Delaware family in December of 2015. She received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Disorders from The State University of New York at New Paltz. Her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) was earned at the University at Buffalo. Lauren spent one year as an audiology resident at an ENT practice in New York, from here she moved onto a large ENT group in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Her experience includes collaboration with ENT’s and audiologists as a member of cochlear implant and Baha team, hearing aid dispensing, comprehensive audiologic evaluation and vestibular and electrophysiologic evaluation and interpretation. These experiences, in addition to her education have helped develop a strong foundation in research, diagnostic evaluation and counseling of patients and families affected by hearing loss.
Lauren is committed to providing quality hearing health care that meets the unique needs of each patient. She accomplishes this through comprehensive evaluation and by using the most current evidence based practices. In order to stay up to date, she continually educates herself on the latest technology and research available. Some of her professional interests include hearing devices and tinnitus.
Lauren currently holds professional licenses in Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She also has a Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.-A) through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Megan J. Gerhart, Au.D., F/AAA, C/ABAClinical Audiologist

Dr. Gerhart received her Doctoral Degree from the University of Florida in 2010, and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University in 2006. Dr. Gerhart is a licensed Audiologist in both Pennsylvania and Delaware. She is a member of the Educational Audiology Association, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, as well as certified through the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Gerhart is committed to enhancing lives through better hearing. She believes in performing the latest in diagnostic testing to thoroughly evaluate the auditory system as a whole. With these findings, a more accurate assessment can be completed to determine the best solution for each individual. She stays current through regular advanced training seminars on the latest technology with industry-leading hearing instrument manufacturers.

Jodi Greene, M.S., CCC/AClinical Audiologist
Kerry Herrmann, Au.D., CCC/A, F/AAAClinical Audiologist

Dr. Herrmann joined ENT & Allergy of Delaware in March 2009. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree (B.S.Ed.), specializing in Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsberg University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Kerry has practiced in ENT offices, private practices, and hospitals as a clinical audiologist, providing basic and advanced diagnostic testing; dispensing hearing aids and other amplification/assistive listening devices; and adjusting/repairing hearing devices ranging from basic through today’s most advanced digital technology.
Kerry is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is licensed to practice Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Judy Seelig, MS, CCC/A, F/AAAClinical Audiologist
Towson State University, 1983
Judy is a licensed and certified audiologist in the state of Delaware. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Penn State University in 1978; and practiced as a Speech Pathologist for three years. She returned to school and obtained a Master of Science Degree in Audiology from Towson State University in 1983.
Judy has been a practicing Audiologist for over 26 years. She has worked in a variety of settings; including ENT practices and hospital settings. She also served as Director of Audiology for a non-profit clinic for senior citizens where she established an Audiology program and supervised a staff of four for over 23 years. She has provided diagnostic testing; aural rehabilitation and hearing aid dispensing and repair services throughout her career.
Judy has also provided educational seminars to University of Delaware students and nursing staff, working with hearing impaired residents residing in nursing homes.
Monica Song, MS, CCC/A, F/AAAClinical Audiologist

Monica is a Delaware licensed and ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certified Audiologist. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with a concentration in Audiology from Penn State University in 1991 and a Master of Arts degree in Audiology from the University of Massachusetts in 1993.
Monica started her career in 1993 as a Clinical Audiologist at an ENT practice and as a Dispensing Audiologist at a Hearing Aid Dispensing Center in Wilmington, Delaware. She has extensive experience providing diagnostic testing and dispensing a wide range of hearing aids available today to children and adults. Monica’s main focus is to provide patients and their families with care and support to maximize their hearing aid experience.
Dinita HicksAudiology Assistant
Dinita joined ENTAD in September 2011, having over 10 years of customer service experience. Her diverse background includes working as a corporate trainer for a major credit card company, working in the Sales and Marketing department for a large phone company; and working as the lead Customer Service Representative for a local cable company. This customer care experience made her an asset to ENTAD where she began her time with the practice as a patient care coordinator, working closely with one of the practice physicians. Her talent and expertise brought her to the audiology department of ENTAD in February 2013, where she now serves as the Senior Coordinator for the Audiology department. She is responsible for all aspects of patient service including scheduling, responding to patient inquiries, handling customer calls, as well coordinating department meetings and events. She is also in charge of the Aural Rehabilitation class preparation. Additionally, Dinita recently began training to become a Certified Audiology Assistant. She will receive her certification and begin seeing patients in early Spring of 2014. She is a graduate of Wilmington University, receiving her Associates degree in General Studies in 2004. She is a tremendous asset to the department and brings a warm, caring and friendly personality to the practice.
Jaclyn WilliamsonAudiology Assistant
Jackie joined ENTAD in January 2011 with experience in customer care in the medical field. She spent a year working with the front desk staff, but seamlessly transitioned into the Audiology Coordinator position within a year. Her knowledge and customer service experience enabled her to create this new position within the audiology department and she remains a tremendous asset to the practice. Jackie’s ambitions and hard work recently helped her complete training through Nova Southeastern University, and she is now certified as an Audiology Assistant, specializing in Amplification/Hearing Aid Assistance. She works closely with the audiologists and the patients to help them with maintenance and minor repairs of their hearing aids, as well as handling customer service. She is compassionate and caring, and provides the highest quality of care to her patients. Jackie’s versatility and customer care experience have made her an asset to the ENTAD Audiology family.
